William “Chip” Tieder

Chip Tieder is a Senior Associate with Nicholas & Bell, PA. Mr. Tieder’s practice is focused on commercial litigation, health care litigation and insurance defense, including premises liability. Mr. Tieder’s experience includes representing hotels in general liability matters including construction claims, premise liability matters, and employment based claims. Mr. Tieder also represents employers in employment disputes involving FLSA claims, health care companies, and other businesses in complicated business torts and contract matters. Mr. Tieder received his undergraduate degree in Philosophy with a minor in Business Administration from the University of West Florida and his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law. Passionate about the practice of law and his community, Mr. Tieder has dedicated his time to such organizations as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Delta Tau Delta, Unite for Change, and The University of Tampa. He is also the Vice President of the Del Oro Grove Home Owners Association. Mr. Tieder is admitted to practice law before all state courts in Florida, as well as the United States District Courts for the Middle District and the Southern District of Florida. He also is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce. When away from the office, Mr. Tieder enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, traveling, and attending sporting events.
