Daniel A. Nicholas is a founding partner of Nicholas & Bell, P.A. He has 22 years of multiple disciplinary litigation experience in the areas of corporate, business, receivership, bankruptcy, petroleum, securities, construction, and anti-trust. Mr. Nicholas has handled a sundry of complex litigation for national and local clients in both the public and private sectors. He has obtained jury verdicts of excess of $100M in state and federal trials for the nation’s largest banks, developers, and health care clients. He frequently represents real estate developers and health care clients in matters of administrative proceeding.
His practice is highly concentrated in the health care industry. He has substantial regulatory expertise that includes Federal Anti-Kickback, Stark, Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, FDA regulations, The Affordable Care Act, as well as the operational and compliance issues facing the ever-changing health care industry.
Mr. Nicholas has spoken regularly throughout the United States in an array of litigation and healthcare issues and has frequently lectured at the Lyndon B. Johnson Center for Public Policy, and appeared on numerous television and radio shows on matters of professional malpractice and consumer protection.
